Rc Electric Brushless Motor Guide

New to brushless motors? Here is a good place to start!

A rc electric brushless motor is more or less an overpowered "normal" rc motor. There are only three major differences: brushless motors are a lot more powerful, they need a special esc (electronic speed control) to run, and don't have brushes like your normal dc motor. All this means that the motor is more dangerous than your average electric rc motor, but provide faster speed for your rc.

If you are to add a brushless motor to a normal rc, then you will need to attach an ESC. Since brushless motors have three wires while your average rc motor has 2, you cannot get around this. Since installing is different for every electric rc, we will not cover it in this guide.

If you want more power, try combining a LIPO battery with your electric brushless motor! Together, you can get the most power and speed out of your rc!

That is the end of this guide, but only the start of electric brushless rc motors. Feel free to check out our other pages!
