Rc Setup Guide

So, you have the rc and pull it out of the package. What next!? Here we will guide you through all of the steps needed to setup your new rc:

Step 1: Locate the battery and the charger. Begin to charge it as you are going through the next setup steps. BE SURE TO CHECK IT EVERY 15 MINUTES OR SO! Refer to the owner's manual for the proper charging time.

Step 2: Find your rc's included manual. If your RC is not a RTR type, then follow the included guide's instructions. This will guide you through setting up your chassis, wing(s), and other needed parts. Don't forget to check the battery! If you get stuck on the manual's instructions, then don't be aggressive with your rc. Try searching for some video tutorials. If those do not help, take it into your local hobby shop for assistance.

Step 3: If your rc is RTR, then your setup should be a lot easier. If yours has a detachable body, then there is a good chance that you will need to find some body pins, although they should be included. Even if your battery is not finished charging, try putting the body on over the rc chassis to get used to attaching/detaching it.

Step 4: Make sure that your receiver has its crystal attached and add in the needed store bought batteries. Try setting it up as if you would play with it, even if your battery is only partially charged. Make sure to gently test to make sure all of its functions work! NOTE: If it is a flying toy, don't fly just yet. YOU NEED SOME PRACTICE! Do this in a simulator (there are some free ones online) or through hovering in your garage (as there is no wind).

Step 5: Finish charging your battery, and read over the corresponding sections of this site for tips/tricks when it comes to using your rc!
